LAUNCH - "THE THING UNDER MY BED" @ MINT TOY MUSEUM, SINGAPORE
On 14 March 2009 at the very cool Mint Toy Museum in Singapore, a special
collaborative event took place; the launch of the Splatter/Foo children's book
The Thing Under My Bed.
The Author, Adeline Foo was present, as were the four illustrators who took part in the Monsters in the Mind project. There were readings and signings on the day, and the public met with all the artists who collaborated on the series.
Christopher Martin, Creative Director for Splatter, illustrated The Thing Under My Bed; a children's book that is a joint project between Foo, Splatter and Ethos Publishing, that is a funny look at the benefits of keeping your bedroom clean!
The book has already travelled successfully to Frankfurt Book Fair and will go to the Bologna Book Fair this month, where it is sure to attract interest from overseas publishers and licensees.
